VeeamON 2017: Demanding users force enterprises to re-think seamless Digital Life experiences in the cloud
Backup and disaster recovery global company has unveiled a handful of innovations aimed at creating the ultimate seamless digital life experience.
At the company’s main event, VeeamON, and in front of an audience of 3,000, Veeam Software set out its vision of what the future will be under the digital life motto.
The vision is delivered through non-stop business continuity, digital transformation agility, analytics and visibility with actionable insights for data management, operational performance and compliance across the entire infrastructure.
Peter McKay, co-CEO and President at Veeam, said: “Today’s users are demanding – period. At home, work or school, users want a seamless digital experience and anything less is unacceptable. Enterprises are having to re-think their IT strategies and service models, and Availability is of paramount importance.”
Building on the digital life ideal and in order to achieve the proposed outcome the company unveiled the new Veeam Availability Suite v10 and extended Veeam ‘Always-On Cloud’ Availability Platform.
In addition, Veeam launched the Veeam CDP to help customers protect and recover Tier-1 and mission-critical applications.
The provider has also launched Veeam Availability to protect AWS apps and data, and unveiled the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows which has been designed to provide ‘Always-On Cloud’ Availability for Windows-based physical servers and endpoints, as well as applications running in Microsoft Azure, AWS and other public clouds.
