Salesforce using AWS data centres to serve Australian enterprises
Company banks on long-established relationship with AWS which in July resulted in the launch of data centre services in Canada.
The world’s fifth largest public cloud provider Salesforce has turned to the world’s first largest public cloud operator AWS to expand its business in Australia.
As part of its strategic partnership with AWS, originally announced in March, customers in Australia can access the Salesforce Customer Success Platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Platform, Community Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and more.
Salesforce has signed up to use the AWS Sydney Region with icare and Telstra being the first Australian Salesforce customers to access the Salesforce Customer Success Platform on the AWS Sydney Region.
