Salesforce taps into AWS cloud infrastructure to expand in Australia

Services expected to start in H2 2017and deliver the Salesforce Intelligent Customer Success Platform.

Salesforce has announced it will expand its services in Australia by build up its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud footprint through the AWS Sydney Region to support its growing customer base in the country.

The company will leverage AWS to deliver the Salesforce Intelligent Customer Success Platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Community Cloud, Analytics Cloud and more.

The AWS Sydney Region is expected to be generally available to Salesforce customers in the second half of 2017.

Mark Innes, General Manager of Salesforce Asia Pacific, said: “In our last quarter, APAC was the fastest-growing region for Salesforce, and we are excited to expand our infrastructure footprint to support our rapidly growing customer base in Australia.
