RagingWire leases out Sacramento data centre to East Coast as-a-service provider
250,000 sqf facility is set to play a pivotal role in fostering expansion in the region.
Data centre as-a-service provider Anexio has leased space at RagingWire’s California data centre as the company expands its footprint in the East Coast of the US.
The data centre in Sacramento has 250,000 sqf of net space and a power of 12.6MW.
In a statement, Anexio said: “The new Sacramento, California, location joins Anexio’s five other Tier III, high-performance data centres, which are strategically spaced on the East Coast.
“Each is equipped with robust power, connectivity and cooling, and feature layer after layer of redundancy.”
Anexio’s data centre footprint is present in the states of Virginia, New Jersey and now California.
The Sacramento data centre is not the first leased by RagingWire to Anexio; the company also rents out space at the operator’s 150,000 sqf data centre in Ashburn and 256,000 sqf building in Reston, both in the state of Virginia.
In addition to RagingWire, which has recently cut the ribbon of a 230,000 sqf hub in Texas, Anexio also leases out space from two DuPont Fabros Technology data centres both in Ashburn and one from QTS in Piscataway (New Jersey).
Tony Pompliano, president and CEO of Anexio, said: “Anexio data centres are world-class facilities offering the flexibility, scalability and security customers require.”
The table below contains all the data centres used by Anexio for its operations including the lease owner and the total square footage and power of which facility.
