Green Datacenter appoints Andrea Luigi Campomilla as Chief Operating Officer
Green Datacenter strengthens its management team and provides its data centre construction operations with a new Chief Operating Officer.
Green Datacenter has announced the appointment of Andrea Luigi Campomilla as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Campomilla held similar positions at Interxion and Colt Technology Services, and has had 20 years of industry experience.
He has a degree in electrical engineering and is a business economist and an EMBA in international management graduate, and has obtained an Uptime Institute accreditation.
“I am very excited about it, to develop our data centres together with my team and unite our customers to offer first-class service. The sustainability as well as the energy efficiency, to which Green Datacenter already does – I have always been committed to this,” said Campomilla in written statement translated to English.

“With Andrea Luigi Campomilla we have gained a leader who has many years of experience, an exceptional track record and a profound understanding of customer needs,” said Roger Süess, CEO of Green Datacenter.
“He will be responsible for the five existing data centres, and will take over and support us in further construction projects as well as with our growth plans.”
The company revealed that the Swiss Cube allows companies to purchase their IT infrastructure as a service without the need to invest in their own hardware, while keeping control over their data location.
The company also recently announced the opening of its Zurich West 3 data centre facility – investing around $70.3 million (70m Swiss francs) into the construction.
