Former IBM Executive Tilman Binder joins BackOffice Associates as DACH Managing Director
Data migration software company BackOffice Associates has announced the appointment of former IBM Executive Director Tilman Binder as DACH Managing Director for BackOffice Associates’ EUAF region.
Binder has a track record of over 10 years at IBM for IBM Global Technology Services, working in both Germany and Japan. Prior to IBM, he spent 10 years at SAP in Walldorf and Tokyo, leading the business unit responsible for the Life Sciences go-to-market strategy.

BackOffice Associates relocated its DACH headquarters to Stuttgart in July 2018, further extending its focus across the DACH region and its partnership with SAP. In Germany and Switzerland, BackOffice Associates has delivered business outcomes through its software and services solutions to an array of companies in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland region.

SAP has been reselling data migration and solutions from BackOffice Associates as SAP Solution Extensions since 2014.
With over one-third of BackOffice Associates’ business coming from the DACH region, the company delivers data transformation solutions supporting clients’ business transformation initiatives, including migrating to SAP S/4HANA and the Intelligent Enterprise.
Binder’s role will be to advise clients on global transformation while implementing new software and processes, for example, Service Integration, Demand Management (from Idea to Project, Portfolio and global Budget Mgmt.
