Equinix promotes two of its senior execs as data centre business continues to grow
C-level promotions are expected to drive product synergies that enable the company to implement and scale innovation at Equinix, says CEO Steve Smith.
Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX) has promoted its Chief Customer Officer Brian Lillie to Chief Product Officer while also promoting its Senior Vice President of Global Customer Care and Experience to Lillie’s vacant role.
Lillie has been tasked with leading the product management, design, development and engineering teams as part of the new Global Product organisation.
Elsewhere, Ortman, who joined Equinix in January this year, will be expected to define and implement an enterprise-wide customer experience vision to help drive customer loyalty and retention, “and create a truly differentiated experience for customers”.
