DataBank acquires Ohio, Pennsylvania data centers days after scooping C7
Acquisition comes 11 days after DataBank announced it had acquired rival C7 Data Centers, expanding its footprint to more than one million sqf.
Digital Bridge Holdings’ DataBank has acquired two data centres from 365 Data Centers in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
The acquisition, whose value has not been disclosed, has been announced only four days after rumours surfaced around Digital Bridge being in talks to acquire Vantage Data Centers for $1bn.
The purchase of the 365 Data Centers’ sites was made with DataBank already planning to expand its footprint in the two regions beyond what the data centres already cover.
The two data centres add to the company’s more than one million sqf of space in six major US markets which include Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas and Salt Lake City.

DataBank itself was acquired by Digital Bridge in July 2016. Digital Bridge has raised over $6.3 billion of debt and equity capital used to acquire and invest in the development of communications infrastructure businesses, including DataBank, ExteNet, Vertical Bridge, Andean Tower Partners, and Mexico Tower Partners.
