Data Economy speaks to Vertiv VP on today’s data centre energy crisis




Data centres can consume as much power as a small city. As demand for online services grows, the need for power is also set to skyrocket. By 2020, the IT sector is predicted to amount to 3.5% of global emissions, a value that if nothing is done to curb it, will grow to 14% by 2040.
