CyrusOne aligns growth strategy with addition of Forbes, Reuters recognised expert



Company lines up strategic board move towards addressing new investments, mergers and acquisitions, as well as joint venture arrangements.

CyrusOne, which has recently gone under a wave of data centre expansions and acquisitions, has named Jonathan Schildkraut as the company’s new executive vice president and chief strategy officer.

Schildkraut will report directly to the company’s CEO Gary Wojtaszek and has been tasked with helping the company “achieve its objective of accelerating growth and becoming the preferred data centre provider to the Fortune 1000”.

His duties include refine the company’s digital infrastructure strategy, overseeing new investments, mergers and acquisitions, as well as joint venture arrangements.

Prior to joining CyrusOne, Schildkraut served as senior managing director in equity research at Guggenheim Partners.

There, he was part of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications research team, specifically focusing on communication infrastructure companies in the data centre, wireless tower, telecom and fiber industries.

Prior to Guggenheim, Schildkraut worked at Evercore ISI and Jefferies in similar roles. His research has earned him recognition from Forbes, Thomson Reuters and Institutional Investor where he was named a member of the “2016 All-America Research Team”.
