Colt launches PrizmNet Cloud Access for capital markets
Colt Technology Services has launched PrizmNet Cloud Access, to bring the services of cloud service providers (CSPs) to Colt’s financial ecosystem.
PrizmNet Cloud Access uses Colt’s dedicated cloud access (DCA) service and enables capital market members to take advantage of a choice of cloud platforms and the applications they provide.
Colt’s dedicated cloud access provides a secure and reliable private network connection between data centres or office locations and the major CSPs with this new offering.
It allows both cloud consumers and cloud providers to use the PrizmNet network to access services from both non-cloud providers like exchanges for trade execution and cloud providers who can generate data-led insights powered by analytics.

“As more and more businesses move workloads to the cloud, Colt’s PrizmNet service can enable seamless content and application delivery to customers, as well as supporting providers who have applications running in the cloud to connect to their customers,” said Matthew Reinholds, head of capital markets for the US and Europe at Colt.
“We believe that by further connecting our secure, high-performance PrizmNet service with the key CSPs, we can support businesses looking to benefit from a community of trading platforms, exchanges and market data sources.”
The new service creates a robust ecosystem that will help capital market firms use artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimise their business operations, make better trading decisions, bring new products and services to the market and gain competitive advantages.
Colt PrizmNet offers simplified access to a global Capital Markets ecosystem of 160+ exchanges, venues and service providers; and 10,000+ market participants.
