Chef exec joins IT infrastructure start-up venture capital investor
New member to work on technical due diligence and provide technical and operational advice to the investor’s portfolio of companies.
Early stage IT infrastructure start-up investor EVO Venture Partners has announced Chef’s Yvo van Doorn has joined the organisation as a partner.
Doorn has been tasked with working on technical due diligence and providing technical and operational advice to the investor’s portfolio of companies, which in the past included companies such as Wercker which has been acquired by Oracle earlier this year.
Doorn works at the same time for Chef Software as Director Technical Services for Europe. He is based in Amsterdam.
In a company statement, EVO Venture Partners said: “Chef is a leading company in continuous automation. Yvo has experience in building technical teams from the ground up, both in the US and Europe.
“Furthermore, Yvo is an accomplished speaker and understands how to build traction for software products in technical communities.
“Yvo is currently actively involved in DevOps communities around Europe and is co-organizer for DevOpsdays Amsterdam. We are very honoured to welcome him.”
