Carter Validus data centre CAPEX tops $330m in six months
With seven data centres acquired in recent months, Carter Validus is one of the most active organisations in the acquisitions scene.
Non-traded real estate investment trust Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II has topped $328.9m in data centre acquisitions carried out in the last six months.
The last property to be added to the company’s portfolio of 20 data centres is a 52,924 sqf centre in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The colocation facility was purchased for $16.4m and is 100% leased.
The Charlotte data centre has now become part of the REIT’s portfolio of 20 buildings located across North America.
